Good evening. Today, we've got news that leaders of the UMaine System - and the individual universities - laid out their strategic plans for the next five years, including investments of $1.2 billion in 400 projects addressing physical infrastructure issues.

On the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, first responders commemorated fallen heroes in a ceremony on the Eastern Prom in Portland. About 50 residents gathered at the 9/11 memorial at Fort Allen Park this morning to hear Fire Chief Keith Gautreau's remarks on the 22nd anniversary.

Portland city councilors are grappling with an ongoing problem from people using fake names and addresses who call into council meetings via Zoom to routinely spew hate speech and sometimes to harass specific members of the council. Read more about the rise of hate groups in Maine in our three-month investigation of white nationalist groups operating in the state.

There's still time to sign up for Tuesday's Maine Voices Live event with actor Matthew Delamater, of 'The Tender Bar,' 'Chicago P.D.' and 'Castle Rock' fame. Register here for the event at One Longfellow Square at 7 p.m.
